Musgravite Gems

Humans have known jewellery since centuries ago. Some of the stones we now know are diamonds, rubies, and sapphires. Apparently, there are many types of gems that exist. One of them is musgravite. Musgravite is sold for the US $ 35,000 / carat. This stone is the rarest agate in this world and recently discovered. This musgravite stone was first discovered in the Musgrave region of Australia. Furthermore, this stone is known as Musgravite. There is also news that in Greenland and Madagascar also found this stone. In 1993, only two musgravite rocks had been scrubbed for the first time from Sri Lanka.

This high-value gemstone was first discovered in 1967 in a South Australian mountain range. This rock has a hardness of 8-8.5 on Mohs scale. This stone belongs to the taaffeite family (a mineral that was first discovered by Richard Taaffe in 1898-1967). Musgravite is one of the rarest gems on earth, so the price is very high. Until 2005 it was estimated that there were only 8 Musgravites around the world.

This type of gemstone actually has the silicate mineral content that was first discovered in Australia in an area called Musgrave. Although similar types of minerals are also found in Madagascar, Greenland and Sri Lanka, this type of stone remains included in the category of rare precious stones. A number of traces of aluminium, beryllium and magnesium are also present in the stone.

As I said before, this Musgravite is very rare, before this stone was claimed to exist only in South Australia. But lately this Noble Stone was once found in the Greenland, America, United States, Sri Lanka, Madagascar, and in the State of Tanzania. Although already found in some locations that contain Musgravite in parts of the World, a very limited number makes this Noble Stone has a very high price.
